Sorry, my watchers, for never logging on! I've been trying to keep my head with the start of a new school year, so this was shoved to the back burner.
Originally, the idea was that Looking for Angels would be a Christian literary magazine, seeking to provide spiritual insights in quality poetry and prose. The primary audience will be young adults. While the content and purpose will remain the same, I am thinking that it would be simpler to start with an e-zine.
I'm not sure how copyright laws would cover an individually "published" magazine, which was what I formerly had in mind (see the old journal). As far as my understanding goes, copyright regarding an e-zine would probably be less of an issue.
LfA will be based from deviantART as a group, in addition to the e-zine.
Still in the beginning stages, LfA is in need of writers who focus both on quality spiritual content and on quality writing technique. I am also seeking artists interested in creating a logo for the magazine (and an avatar for this account). In addition, there is a possibility of a front-page art feature, perhaps with literature accompaniment, for which artists are welcomed to submit.
If you are interested in joining the group and/or contributing to the magazine, please send a note with "Join" or "Contribute" in the subject line. You can also note

God's peace,
Alchemy-of-the-Heart, your hopeful to-be-editor
